Brooks was an Indian in the Ellison Park school play, Peter Pan. I was really surprised when he told me that he wanted to be in the play. I was ON BOARD and excited for him to experience something like this. The practices were twice a week for about 1 1/2 hours . Brooks slowly got tired of the practices but stuck it out. He did GREAT! He knew all of the dance moves and did very well singing the songs. I was so proud of him!
We had fun taking some pictures.
He did the play 3 times. So he was tuckered out by the end. But he informed me that he WOULD NEVER do a play again. He enjoyed the performance but didn't like going to practice. So we will see! Thank you to all of the family and friends that came and supported Brooks.
Dylan came but it was a little past his bed time. ha!
Uncle Jase and Aunt Megan came to the Thursday night performance and brought Brooks balloons. He was so impressed that Megan took the time to write in fancy writing on the balloons. :)
Thanks again to everyone that came! It was a really exciting time for Brooks! You did a great job Brooks and we are really proud of you!

He looks so cute as an indian! I wish I could sleep like Dylan when I get too tired to stay awake. I can't wait to see the video of the play! It will be fun to see if Brooks remembers having fun at the actual play performance or if he decides he is done with plays! He can be the athletic - sensitive type guy. Ha! I love that indian!
Sounds like fun! I bet he was a star...good for him. :)
