A Moms gotta brag!

WOW! My little Dylan surprises me every soccer game. This kid is on fire! He has NO FEAR!  He has no problem knocking kids over to get the ball. He gets right in there and does what he needs to do to get that soccer ball in the goal. He made 6 goals this game. He gave me a big thumbs up after every goal. By the end of the game, the coach on the other team was calling Dylan, LITTLE BECKHAM. He was also saying to the kids on HIS soccer team," DO YOU SEE NUMBER TWO           ( Dylan)? DONT LET HIM GET THE BALL." We are proud of you Dylan. It was hard for him to sit and just watch Brooks play soccer the last couple of years. But now it's HIS turn to shine. WAY TO GO DYLAN!!!

Random stuff

GAME DAY! Jake is a huge Green Bay Packers fan... which means...SO ARE OUR CHILDREN. They don't have a choice in the matter. Ha! They all dress up for good luck! Jake even taught them the cheer!  THey loved to sing it!

THis week of school was green ribbon week. So everyday there was a different activity that the kids to do for school. Tuesday was crazy hair day. Brooks is such a stud. I was just informed that there is a girl in his class that keeps kissing him on the cheek and trying to hold his hand. This kid has the girls chasing him already! We are in trouble!

Dylan! ha ha! This kid is funny! We have been having fun spending time together while Brooks is at school. We do lots of school work. He is such a bright kid. He loves to play with the photo booth on my computer.

HA HA! THis kid makes me laugh. He is VERY good at making funny funny faces!

Ryann is quite the character. She loves to get into everything. She has a serious attitude already but she is so stinking cute that all you can do is laugh. She loves her babies and being pushed in her baby stroller.

Facebook contest! I won this facebook contest and I got to choose a hair clip and headband. We got it in the mail today so i had to try it on her. She looks so cute! She moves so fast that it is hard to get a picture of her.

Ellie turned 6

Happy birthday to Miss Ellie. Ellie turned 6 years old on Thursday. Ellie told my sister, her mom, that her party needs to be Less Princess, More Rock and Roll! So funny! So I made her a Punk rocker tutu and a cool ring. She looked stinkin cute!

I made a ring for Ryann too and I was SO impressed that she kept it on the whole time. She even went over to my mom to fix her ring because it started to come off.

Ryann and her cuz Ellie

Cutie blue eyed Gabe ( They put purple hair extensions in Ellies hair...and guess who else got some?) Look very closely in this picture. ha ha!

Ellie and her cool Aunt Anna

Her birthday party was at Sarah's boutique, the Clique www.thecliqueonline.net, where the girls had stories, watched a movie on the projector, got makeup on, and got a pedicure.

Pink Cheetah trendy toes on there big toe and the rest painted pink or black.

Ryann LOVED getting her toes done. When the girls that work for Sarah would ask who was next to get their toes done, my Mom and I would say that it was Ryann's turn and they would just laugh like we were joking. Little did they know Ryann stayed more still than some of the older girls. ha! Thanks Mom for sitting with her while I got my nails done.

Present time!!!

What a cute cake! Sarah had one of her friends make this cute cake.

Just a few more fun pictures. I told you all that Ryann would sit there and let me paint her nails if she has nail polish in both hands. ha! Here is the proof!

She got some fun shades from the party that she loved to show off.

My awesome cheetah trendy nails. SO CUTE!!! I also bought some super cute clothes there too.

We love Ellie so much and glad that we could be a part of her fun day.

Hogle Zoo

We were so excited to go to the zoo for Memorial Day. It was a perfect cool day. We haven't been to the zoo since Dylan was one years old. And we were so excited for Ryann to go because she loves animals and making animal sounds.
classic lion water fountain

They had this HUGE water mist fan. I want one of those!

Ryann LOVED the giraffe. She was shaking and pointing and doing a dog sound. ha! It was so cute! She was so excited!

The boys thought the alligator was pretty cool!

They had a blast on the merry go round.

This is for you Megan B. The baby elephant was pretty cute.

Look at that cute zebra!

All the kids got something from the Zoo store. Brooks got a scary spider, Dylan got some zebra binoculars, and how could we say no to Ryann when she saw this giraffe and she kept hugging it and saying,"Ahhhh." So that is what Ryann got.
What a good day!

Mommy's little jobs

So most of you all know the side jobs that I do because of Facebook, but I don't think I have ever blogged about it.

Once I found out I was having a little girl, my love for crafts came out. I had made a zillion hair bows before Ryann was even born. I would make a new hair bow to match every outfit and then had to make sure she had a matching bracelet. I have never bought a single hair bow. Every hair accessory that you see in Ryann's hair, I have made. Making hair bows became a fun hobby of mine. Then, some friends suggested that I sell hair bows at my Moms school and my Mother-in-laws school. So, I did. I made some good money. You learn to play around and create new bow styles. My friend Alexis always gives me new ideas. Then, I started making this really cute hair bow with a feather on it. Every time I would take Ryann out and she was wearing one of these feather bows, I would get comments on how cute they were. So,I decided make a bunch of them and went to my mother-in-laws school to sell them. I SOLD ONE! That is it! Now what was I going to do. I have a ton of hair bows and didn't know what to do with them. So I decided to go around to different boutiques and see if they were interested. I knew they were cute, but is anyone else going to think so. It turned out that Sassy Baby in Bountiful thought so.  So far, they have made 5 or  6 orders. They started small and now they are ordering 60 clips and 14 headbands around every 2 weeks.  It's pretty cool!
One of my many bow orders.

Then, my little sister Mary got me hooked on covering diaper wipe cases. They were so fun to make and so cute. Before I knew it, I had two orders and was requested to make some for the Festival of Trees. Here are a few that I have made.

*** If any of you are interested in making an order for hair bows or wipe cases, just send me a message. ***
