Fetal Fotos- TAKE THREE

Jake and I went into Fetal Fotos for the first time when I was 16 weeks. Jake and I were so excited to find out if it was a girl or a boy, that we couldn't wait for my next doctors appointment. So Fetal Fotos we went. To my SUPRISE, Jake and I were going to get our little girl!!! We weren't able to get a really good shot of her face, so they told us to come back somewhere between 28-33 weeks.
At 28 weeks, we went into Fetal Fotos again to see if we could get a good shot of Ryann's face. But Ryann had other plans. Her legs were over her head or she was turned into the placenta. Luckily, we were still able to get a couple of profile shots. So, we were told yet again, to come back in a week or so. You can see her chubby little cheek.
So, we went into Fetal Fotos again today at 30 weeks, to see if Ryann would give us a good shot of that cute little face I dream about. She gave us some trouble yet again. She loves having her little hands up by her face, so it is hard to get a good shot. But after switching from side to side, pushing on my belly, and a good prayer, she gave us about 20 seconds of her cute little face.

So there she is! Our precious Ryann Elisabeth!

What a LUCKY week!

Well, Jake and I are two of those people that don't have the best of luck. We don't typically win prizes or a drawing. But for some reason, that wasn't the case this last week.

Lucky day number 1: It all started last Wednesday. We went to an America First function that was going to be pretty boring, but we told the kids that they have some games there, so they were ALL for it. While we were sitting through all of the speeches when a lady sitting next to us gave us here raffle ticket. After a LONG bunch of speeches, and the kids were on their best behavior, they started the raffle. They would call out some numbers and if it matched your ticket, you would go and take a turn spinning the money wheel. The amounts went from $25-$100. The second number they called was the raffle ticket the the lady sitting next to us gave us. WAHOO! Brooks spun the wheel and won $75. Jake and I were in amazement!

Lucky day number two: Jake and I have a tradition that we go to at least one Jazz playoff game. So we went on Thursday night. During the game, they throw out prizes to the crowd. Now we were up in the nose bleeds so we don't get our hopes up on catching a prize. But tonight was different. They were throwing these big basketballs with a HUGE slingshot. They slung this ball up in our area but it wasn't close enough for us to get it. But some how, with the help of Jake and the rest of the crowd tipping the ball all over the place, it landed right into my lap. I grabbed it, and the guy next to me started fighting with me for it. HEY, I AM PREGNANT HERE!!! Once Jake saw the guy fighting with me for it, he pulled the guys hands off of the ball. I WON!!!

Lucky day three: Saturday was such a busy day for us. It started out with a few tests that I had at the Tanner clinic. Then, Brooks had a Primary activity. So after Dylan and I dropped him off, I took him on a doughnut date. We love going to Krispie Kreme to get a free doughnut. But I guess they have stopped giving free doughnuts out. But the lady working there gave us one anyways. So we ate our doughnut and looked at how the doughnuts are made. Then, I saw a neighbor that worked at Krispie Kreme. She is really nice, but I have only really had one conversation with her. She stopped what she was doing, once she saw us, and came over and gave us a dozen doughnuts. SCORE!!!

These might seem like small things, but for US, THEY WERE AWESOME!!!

Gotta LOVE This Weather!

We LOVE this weather! In Utah, when it's a nice day outside, you better enjoy it before it snows tomorrow. ha! I have been taking the kids outside to swim everyday this week. They love every minute of it and I don't mind getting my tan on either.

Yesterday, we had a wonderful suprise when Jase brought over a slip and slide from Me-ma Bingham. Brooks had just been talking about his friend Bryson's slip and slide he played with last summer. So this was quite a suprise! Thank You Jase and Me-ma!!! We had SO much fun!

Brooks had no problem slipping and sliding. He is a daredevil!

Dylan, on the other hand, takes a little while before he is comfortable with this crazy idea. He decided to start off with his goggles on and look at all the water...as seen in the next picture.

Then, once the idea sunk in and he decided that he COULD do this, he dove right in. AND LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT!

GO BLUE LIGHTENING!!!

Brooks played soccer in the fall of last year and is playing again this spring. His team is called Blue Lightening! He has a really good team. Brooks LOVES soccer and is quite the athlete.

If you are wondering who's the good lookin coach that is running around with the boys in this picture...IT'S JAKE! He volunteered to coach the boys this Spring. He does a really great job and Brooks loves having his dad be the coach. Last fall, Jake had to work every Saturday, so this is a real treat for Jake to be at every game and see Brooks do AWESOME on that soccer field!

Brooks is number 2...that was Jake's number he always had in high school sports.

A little change in the subject! Thanks to my mom, I finally finished Ryann's room. Here are a few pictures!
I made this bow holder on the right to put all of Ryann's hair clips. I covered a clock we had with zebra fabric. I have had such a fun time getting her room ready.

28 weeks- Fetal Fotos

It's getting closer! The BIG day! Yesterday we went to Fetal Fotos to complete our package we bought when I was 16 weeks to find out the gender. They told us to come back again to get some good pictures of Ryann's face in 4D ,when I was around 28 weeks. Well, lets just say Jake and I already know that Ryann is going to keep us on our toes. When she started the ultrasound, Ryann had both of her legs over the top of her head. So we couldn't get a good picture of her face. SO for about 5 minutes, I had to lay on my right side to see if she would move her legs...NOTHING HAPPENED! So I turned to my left side for awhile...she moved ONE leg and the other was still over the top of her head. We started to think that we were going to have to come back another time. I turned to my side one more time and she finally moved her legs...but all we could see was the back of her head. She wouldnt look at us! REALLY RYANN? But after pushing and pushing on my stomach, we were able to get a couple profile pictures of her face. In order to get a full face picture, Ryann has to give us a perfect profile...but she decided to look straight at us the whole time. So yes, we are coming back to Fetal Fotos in about a week to see if we can get some better pictures.

Here I am on my side, hoping Ryann will turn!

Luckily, they had blocks for the boys to play with.
These are the two profiles of cute little Ryann's face.

DYLAN'S FOOTBALL PARTY BASH!

Dylan wanted a football birthday party so he had to make sure that he was dressed to fit the party. He was so excited to see his friends and family. As soon as he woke up, he ran in my room and asked excitedly, "Is it my party today?"

This is my cute Brooks, who was a BIG helper setting up the party. He blew up ALL of the balloons. Thanks Brooks!

We started off with a fun football game.

Jake entertained all of the kids with his juggling skills. After that, he had all of the kids rolling on the floor laughing as he faced the wall and the kids all took a shot at Jake and threw the footballs at him.

Pinata Time! Here's Dylan taking the first wack!

Here is Dylans friend Andon.

Here's Dylans cousin Ellie.

Here's Brooks!

Dylan was able to take that final wack that broke the pinata open!

Ellie is having her first warhead candy experience. What do you think...does she like it?

Time for presents!

Dylan loved this funny singing card!

Here is Dylan's football cake!

Look at those cheeks! He blew them all out his first try. Way to go Dylan. A BIG thanks to everyone that came to his party. It always means a lot!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone! This is my parents dog Waldo, who is dressed for the part of the Easter bunny! Ha! We had our annual Easter egg hunt at my parents house. It is always a blast. There is an egg trail for each grandchild that leads up to their basket. Then, they go on a big Easter egg hunt. The kids always have so much fun...and so do the adults. ha ha!

This was the cute little Easter basket for Ryann. AND I AM NOT INTENTIONALLY PUTTING DYLAN IN THE HEADLOCK. ha!
This was Jake and my Easter basket. The Easter bunny always does such a great job.

Then we had a yummy cook out. Here is Noah, Dylan and Brooks chowing down on their hot dogs.We had such a great time. Thanks Mom and Dad for having us over! Love you!
