Happy 8 year anniversary!

Today is our 8 year anniversary! We got married and cealed for time and all eternity in the Bountiful Temple. I went through our honeymoon pictures and scanned a few of my favorites. We went to Hawaii!

In our 8 years of marriage, we have gone through many trials and we got through all of them by sticking together and they brought us so much closer. We have three beautiful, loving children.  We have a happy home! I love you Jake and am so grateful for YOU! You are an amazing father, husband, and friend.

We weren't able to go all out this year for our anniversary since my schooling takes up  a lot of time, but we were grateful for Jeff to come over and watch the kids so we could go on a date. Jake surprised me today when I woke up to find a long stem red rose in my bathroom. Then, when I went downstairs, there were 2 dozen long stem red roses waiting for me with a card. I cried of course. :) Thank you Jake! YOU STILL GOT IT!  Love you babe. Happy 8 years and many more to come.

Marinello schools of Beauty

Monday was my first day of nail school. A little scary...okay, I was terrified! It has been quite a while since I have been to school. There is only one other girl in the class with me...I  was nervous if we would get along. We have to wear all black every day. I go to school Monday-Thursday and Saturday. My life is going to be crazy for the next 12 weeks. But my first day went well. I wasn't sure what to expect. It is a lot of book work, which no one likes. But we get to start learning and practicing nails today. YIKES! But, I met the other girl in my class and she is really nice. Unfortunately with my personality, I worry about EVERYTHING. I haven't been able to sleep for the last two nights. The first night was because I was nervous for school to start and the second sleepless night was because I couldn't stop thinking of all the homework that I just finished and will have to do in the future. I also worry about getting models. In the month of October, I need to find 12 people to come and let me practice on them.  Not an easy task! But I AM excited to start to learn how to be AWESOME at doing nails.

I want to give some BIG THANK YOUS to Jake, my Mom, and Julee. They have given up their time to help watch the kids for a few hours in order for me to go to night school. That is a big sacrifice. I am seriously thankful to you all. Jake- I love you and appreciate you supporting me 100%. You will get free pedicures and manicures for life babe! :)

Atlantis

This picture is HILARIOUS!!! When we went to California this summer, we went to Sea World with my parents, and sister Marys family. It was so fun. One of the funnest parts of Sea World was going on the ride Atlantis. It was such a fun/scary ride. While we were waiting in line we were giving my Dad a hard time and saying how scared he was going to be. He was acting tough and saying that it wouldn't phase him. I made Jake promise NOT to put his hands up on the ride so I can see the expression on my Dads face when the ride took his picture. Also, when we were waiting in line, Brooks was freaking out. He was really nervous and Jake told him the ride wasn't scary...well, he lied.  So, why is this picture classic?

1. Jake still put his hands up on the ride, which perfectly covered my Dads face. So now my Dad can always say that he WASNT scared on this ride  BECAUSE OF JAKE! We have no proof. Maybe next year! :)
