"R" is for Ryann

Ryann is almost 3 months old. I cant believe it! She is getting such a personality. Ryann is so much fun and has such a contagious smile. I find myself talking in the funniest voices and doing the weirdest things just to make her smile.

Ellison Park Carnival and soccer game

Friday evening, Brooks had his first school carnival. The kids were so excited to go! I am really grateful to my parents for going with me. It would have been a little crazy if I didn't have their help! Thanks Mom and Dad!!! They had lots of fun games and inflatables.

This was the cutest moment. I look over while we are waiting in line and see this. My two cute boys holding hands. They are such good friends. I love it!!!

I told Dylan that this little scooter course would be too hard for him. But he responded, "Try, try again Mom!!!" So, that is what he did. He had a little trouble, but with Grandpa's help, he finished! Good job Dylan. There is NOTHING too BIG for my little Dylan!I snapped this picture as we were leaving the carnival.

Then on Saturday, we had Brooks second soccer game. He tore it up! I was so proud of him today. He made 9 goals! That's right! NINE! I'm a little proud, OK! :)

This is his cute team doing their Supermen pose! GO SUPERMEN!!!

Jennifer McGary Photography

Alright everyone! There is another awesome photographer that I know. Jakes cute cousin, Jennifer, is getting her photography business started. For each of my children, we get pictures done every three months until they turn one year old. So, she is doing Ryann's 3 month photos at the end of the month. But we were way too excited to wait, so she took a few of Ryann at 2 months too. She also took some pictures of me... for a suprise to give to Jake. Check out her blog http://www.jennifermcgaryphotography.blogspot.com/ She is so talented! Here are some of my favorite photos.

Thanks Jennifer! I love them all! I cant wait for Ryann's 3 month photos!

SUPERMEN!

Brooks had his first soccer game on Saturday! Team Supermen. He made the first goal of the game. He made 3 goals total and made sure that he did a little dance after each one. All of the kids on his team are such good players. Jake is the coach again this year and is so good with the kids.

The funny things Brooks says now that he is in Kindergarten!!!

I love picking Brooks up from school! He always has the best stories. The second day of school I told Brooks that he needs to try to make a new friend everyday. So he decided that he would switch off between girls and boys. So the "girl day" he knew which girl he was going to make friends with. She caught his eye the first day of school. When I picked him up, this is what he told me. "Mom, I went hmmmm ( took a deep breath)and said, here goes nothing! Then I walked up to her and asked if she would be my friend. She said yes. But then she just disappeared and I couldn't find her at recess. But when we lined up, I told her that I was looking for her."

Then a couple days later, he told me that Ashlynn ( his new friend) told him that he should get all of his friends and she would get all of her friends and meet at the slide. But they ran out of time at recess.

This morning, I asked him what he liked about kindergarten and this was his response," I like making girl-friends." He told me that he wanted to tell Ashlynn his phone number and maybe she could call him. And that he is going to invite her over tomorrow so "YOU HAVE TO VACUUM tomorrow." He truly is my child! I was laughing so hard.

Then, when I picked Brooks up today, he told me that at recess, he was playing with Ashlynn and his guy friends (the cute boys from our ward) pulled him by the shirt and said," we have to talk to you! You can NOT kiss girls!" Brooks told him that he wouldn't. He then told me that sometimes he wants to hug her...cuz shes really pretty. SO, we had to have a talk with him reminding him that he cant hug or kiss girls until he is older. We are in real trouble with this kid. Between Jake and I, he's got it in his genes! I still remember in kindergarten chasing boys around the playground.

I love picking Brooks up from school and hearing about all of his new adventures.

Labor Day at the Lake

We got together with the Binghams, Detamores, and Webbs for a fun day at the Lake.
Two of my cuties, Jake and Ryann!

Me-ma Bingham, Brooks and Dylan

The two love birds, Jase and Megan. They are getting married on October 14.

Playing in the sand.

The boys got SUPER dirty! Every time I looked at the boys, I started laughing because they had new spots of sand on their face.
Brooks had it the worst. By the time we left, he had really dark eye brows. We couldn't brush the sand off of them.
The boys playing catch!

Ryanns first pig tails

This is Ryann's first pig tail experience! They look so cute on her. It makes me excited for when she has even more hair. I remember when I was younger and I would beg my little sister to let me do her hair. I would chase her around with a hair brush.ha!

I finally got Ryann rolling over on video. She rolled over at 4 weeks old consistently for about a week. Then she just stopped. She hasn't done it since. She is now 10 weeks and today when I put her on her tummy, she just kept rolling over.

2 month check up!

Ryann had her two month check up on Monday! Ryann is 22 inches long ( 50-55%), 9.4 pounds ( 25%), and head circumference 15 inches ( 40%). So she is doing great! She is still sleeping through the night. The past two nights have been great. She went to bed at 9:30pm and woke up at 7:30am.
Doesnt she look like she is just pondering something important? ha! You gotta love the leg warmers! I bought the socks and my friend Alexis sewed them up for me. They are so cute! Thanks Lex!
