Here's The Plan...

Hey! For all of you who are wondering...
I called the hospital yesterday and today to see where I am on the waiting list. Both nurses told me that I WILL get induced tomorrow. I am waiting on any of the ladies that are being induced on Monday morning, to have their baby, and then I will be called to come in. I could be called early Monday morning or in the afternoon. It all depends on when there is a spot opened. But I am SO excited and cant wait to finally have our little Ryann Elisabeth.

Thank you so much to Jenica for watching the kids while I am having Ryann. Also, a BIG thank you to my mom and dad for watching the kids for the few nights we will be in the hospital. It is so nice not to have to worry about the kids and know that they are in good hands. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

Wish me luck!

38 weeks: pregnancy update

Well, I haven't had Ryann yet! I had a doctors appointment on Monday and everything looks good. I am dilated to a 2. My doctor put me on the waiting list to be induced on Monday. ( it was already full) The nurse said that 8 times out of 10 I will get in there. Everyone just hope that one of those ladies has there baby before Monday so I can have Ryann on Monday. I will find out on Sunday whether or not it will happen. But I am FOR SURE scheduled to be induce on Wednesday.

But can I just vent for a minute. This last week has been so awkward and uncomfortable for me. It doesn't matter where I go, EVERYONE just stares at me. Here is my latest example of this. We went to the mall tonight with the kids and Jake walked by these two girls and overheard them talking...ABOUT ME! "Wow! That girl looks like she is going to pop!" Yes, I know! I am VERY aware that I am huge and I get bigger everyday. But please wait until I am not looking or my husband is not standing right next to you to talk about me or to stare at me. Some people have no clue. I just cant wait for this little girl to get here!!!

Yup! That felt good! Thanks for letting me get that off of my chest!

And here is a cute little story about my boys. I put the boys to bed...in their OWN beds, gave them a kiss and shut the door. Later that evening, I went in their room to check on them and this is what I found. They love each other SO much! I asked Brooks the next morning why he was sleeping in Dylan's bed and he said, "Dylan said I could! I like to be by my little brother." Too cute!

Happy Fathers Day!

Happy Fathers Day Jake! Jake is such a great dad! He loves his boys so much and always makes the time to have fun! Jake teaches the kids funny words and sayings...like whenever you need to say excuse me, you say, "Excuse-say-fuwa." And of course you have to say it in this little jingle. We love you so much Jake and the boys couldn't have asked for a better daddy!
I also wanted to give a shout out to my awesome Dad. He has always been such a great example to me. I love you Dad and even all of your Hawaiian shirts. ha ha! You're the best!!!

And here is a shout out to Jake's dad, Jeff. He has raised such an amazing son. He looks up to you so much! You are a great dad!

Family Fun Day and Pregnancy Update

We have started a tradition that once a week we have a family fun day.It has been so much fun! Last Saturday we took the boys to Willard Bay and played on the beach.
The water was a little too cold for Mommy but the boys had no problem jumping right in! They had a blast!
Dylan is not quite the fish that Brooks is yet, so he enjoyed eating chips, watermelon, and watching the waves with me!
Once Brooks got out of the water, he was freezing. He said that only thing that kept him warm enough is if he was TOTALLY covered with the towels...face included! Can you find him???
This is cute Dylan with his wolverine hair!

Jake had Friday off this week instead of Saturday. He woke up early and went golfing with Brooks and a couple of friends. Brooks loves to golf with his Daddy! Don't they look cute in their golfing outfits?

So this week I am 36 weeks. And I have found that Ryann could be coming sooner than I think. On Monday,I had my weekly visit to the doctor and found out that Ryann has already dropped. Everything looks good! So on Tuesday, Jake and I decided to go on what will probably be our last date before Ryann is here. As soon as we got into the car to drop off the kids at my Mom's house, I started having some very intense pain. This lasted for 2 hours. I felt so much pressure that it felt like Monday was the day she was going to be born. It was every 3 minutes. But the pain did subside and I survived. I went into the doctor the next day to check everything out. Everything is OK. The doctor just said that it could very well be soon. My body is getting ready to have this baby. YEAH!

Sickness,sickness, and MORE sickness!

Well, for about two week, one by one, we have all been sick. It started with Brooks. He had a high fever. The next day it was gone. YeAH!..RIght? Nope! That was only the beginning. A few days after that, he had a really bad sore throat. A few days after, that he had diarrhea all day with really back stomach pains. As soon as you think it is gone, he develops this REALLY bad cough. Jake was next. Then, it was Dylan. And I tried EVERYTHING to always keep my hands washed and Lysol everything that anyone touches. But, I got sick anyways. I got sick on Saturday with all of the same symptoms except, I was lucky enough to be the one that got the vomiting symptom. Oh happy days! And then Dylan gets sick again yesterday. REALLY??? Does it ever end? I ended up going into the doctor today to make sure everything was OK with Ryann because I lost a lot of weight and I am SUPER weak. I cant even go up the stairs without feeling like I have to sit down before I pass out!
So I went in this afternoon and everything is fine. The doctor mentioned that Ryann is great, even if I am puking my brains out! She is getting everything she needs from me. Its just ME that doesn't do so well because I am getting even less nutrients. So I need to drink a lot of gatorade and sprite to help my electrolytes go up.It will take about 4-5 days before I will get my strength back.

I want to thank Jake for sneaking out of work to be with me at the doctors today and to help take care of the boys. He has been so great and loving and has done a great job taking care of me. I love you Jake!!!

So if you haven't seen or heard from me or my family for awhile...that is why!
