Preston's mission party

My cousin Preston got his mission call to  Tacoma Washington  so he flew to Utah to hang with his friends and family before he left. So we had a little party. The boys picked out this missionary action figure "so that he could remember his mission." They even shared some of their silly bands with both of the boys. Now THAT is love.

We also got to see Nick who recently got home from his mission. It is always fun hanging with the Wengers. We love you Preston and are proud of you for going on a mission. You will be a great missionary.

Halloween 2010

I have really been slacking on my blog lately so I am slowly going to try to catch up. Halloween was a blast. We went to   Me-ma Binghams school Halloween party. I always LOVE going to those. They are so much fun and the kids walk away with so many treats and toys.
Brooks- Luigi, Dylan- Mario, Ryann- Princess Peach

Their cousin Ellie was Cruella  and her little brother Logan ( not in the picture) was a Dalmatian

Me-ma and Grandpa Bingham

Ryann is obsessed with lollypops. In  every picture she has a dum dum in her mouth.

Then, we went to Me-ma and Grandpa Wrights house for trick or treating. We always eat yummy Halloween treats like Jack-o-lantern pizza, witches fingers, mummies, and candy corn cupcakes. We first went trick or treating at each door in their house. The weather was SO bad and raining that we didn't know if we should even go trick or treating. But we did. We pilled the kids in our van with a few parents and ran from house to house. I didn't think I was going to take Ryann since  she was already out of her costume, but she insisted. She mostly stayed in the car.

Brett Michael even make a guest appearance!

Ryanns dress was a mess. We put a shirt underneath it to make it warmer when she wore her coat outside and you will see by the end of the night that the dress looked hilarious.
I love this picture of the boys!

This is the after picture of her dress. ha!

This was such a funny story. We put Brooks sticky mustache on and little did we know that when we put it on, it sealed his mouth shut. It was so funny! Here he is finally able to get his mouth unstuck.
 Ryann, Mary, and Hunter
Jake was Brett Michael and I was his punk Rocker love affair for the week.

Cute Miss Ellie was Bo Peep

Ellie and Mr. Gabe- Woody

 Can you find Ryann???

 Hunter was a cute shark!

I love this picture too. Can you tell this little girl is related to Brett Michael?

We had so much fun. Thanks you Wrights and Binghams for a wonderful Halloween! We love you all!

Marinello competition

We had our first competition in school. I was put in a group with cosmetologist and esthetic students and me. One of the girls in the group had to be the model and everyone else was in charge of either makeup, hair, costume, and nails. I was in charge of nails of course.  We had to pick a Halloween character to do. This competition was a little intimidating since I had only been in school for 2 weeks and didn't even know how to do anything yet. But it was really fun.  We chose Edward Scissorhands.  We only had a week and a half to work on this. And since I didn't have my kit yet, I could not work on this at home. When it was school time, we were doing school stuff. So it was hard to find time to get this done. BUT I DID IT! ANd I won first place out of 11 groups. WOOT!!!

I made the scissors out of acrylic. You have to build it up with acrylic. The other nails I put staples, screws, and nails  on them to give them a metallic look.

Our model kind of freaked me out how much she looked like Edward Scissorhands.

I won first place for nails and our group won second place for makeup and second place for overall look.

 Edward Scissorhands transformation.
